Stabbed Him 41 times, Butchered with Chainsaw and She Went on Date..

In May 2014, a factory worker in Incheon discovered a large travel bag abandoned near an industrial complex. Inside was the mutilated body of a man in his 50s.

The victim had suffered 26 stab wounds, and both of his legs had been severed after death. The brutality of the crime immediately shocked investigators.

The Missing Legs

The victim was identified as Choi, a businessman who had disappeared several days earlier after leaving home for what he claimed was a business meeting. Police soon discovered something unusual.

Before disappearing, Choi had deliberately disconnected the power to his vehicle's dashcam and traveled to a remote area near the DMZ, far from his home and far from any obvious business destination.

It appeared he had gone there to meet someone in secret.

The Woman In The Pink Dress

The investigation eventually led police to a woman named Go Ha-na. Surveillance footage, witness statements, and financial records painted a disturbing picture.

After killing Choi, prosecutors said she purchased an electric saw, dismembered the body inside a motel bathroom, cleaned the scene, and disposed of the remains in multiple locations.

Authorities also alleged that she used the victim's bank cards and attempted to buy gold jewelry with his money after the murder.

Suspicious

Go repeatedly changed her story. At first, she claimed she acted in self-defense against sexual assault.

Later, she denied committing the murder altogether. Yet investigators pointed to one critical fact.

During her initial questioning, she revealed the location of the victim's missing lower body — information only the killer could have known.

Final Thoughts

This case appeared straightforward on the surface. A body. A suspect. A conviction.
